Mustasaari is a summer paradise located in the heart of nature, but at the same time right next to the city. The ferry ride from the mainland to the island only takes circa 15 minutes, during which you can enjoy the refreshing coastal air and scenery. The island is accessible via ferry from Taivallahti from the beginning of June until the middle of August. The Taivallahti wharf is located at the end of Eteläinen Hesperiankatu. The exact address is Hiekkarannantie 5. It is advisable to use public transport when travelling to Taivallahti, since there is very limited parking space available. The ferry is also accessible for persons with disabilities.

You can also arrive on your own boat. Dock your boat to the guest wharf, canoes can be left by the beach. Please abide by our opening hours. The island is not accessible by foot or car. The bridge to Kaskisaari is for maintenance purposes only.

The island offers a summer cottage atmosphere and the peace of nature, but also activities and programs for those who want them. Mustasaari's beach is shallow and safe for children. The playground near the beach is especially suitable for small children. A small football field is also freely available to visitors. Please notice that the island is a sober space. Do not consume intoxicants during your visit. Unfortunately, pets cannot be taken on the island.
